Visitors to Stand M85-87 will be able to preview the 20th Century Archive, a new resource for the Espresso for Primary Schools service. This new module contains masses of video clips to illustrate events, people and change during the last century. The archive is sub-divided into decades, each including sub-sections on fashion, famous people, transport and major events.
BETT 2002 will also mark the launch of Espresso's new service for Secondary schools, which follows the established Primary service now being used by more than 400 subscribing schools. This new addition, aimed at Key Stage 3, is initially focusing on PSHE & Citizenship, French and English. The resources feature full screen video clips, multimedia activities, worksheets and related websites, all accompanied by detailed teacher notes. A new 'Homework' service is also being launched which will allow pupils to access some of these materials plus additional extension content from home.
Visitors will also be able to view the Espresso Teacher Training service for Primary teachers, Your Espresso (localised resources built in collaboration with LA's and EAZ's), and Espresso's Staffrooms for Primary and Secondary school teachers. Espresso looks forward to seeing you there!
