Espresso puts the ‘learning’ into Learning Platforms!

We have introduced an ‘embed code’ feature to Espresso that will enable you to display and play videos in your learning platform!

This feature enables subscribing teachers and pupils to easily display and play video directly in the UK’s most popular learning platforms. In addition to supporting schools in getting full value out of their learning platform investment, this service enhancement will also further strengthen school-to-home links by providing additional extended learning opportunities for students.

What’s an 'embed code'?

An embed code is a piece of HTML code that you insert into the text editor of your learning platform in order to actually ‘embed’ the video in the web page. The video will appear with its player in a frame, just as you see it in the service itself.

How do I use it?

We have developed learning platform specific support resources such as documents and videos explaining ‘how to embed video’ and, even more importantly, ‘why embed video?’ Creative ideas for using video in a learning platform are explored and can be the focus of an in-school training session.
